Most pants are designed around standard proportions, leaving tall women with hems that still fall short. We built 178 around height from the very beginning — with longer inseams and proportions intentionally designed for women 170–190 cm.

Founder Sarah Hatouka created 178 out of personal necessity. The brand name is a tribute to that exact height — a constant reminder of who we are designing for. It’s not a petite brand. It’s not a ‘standard’ brand. It is an unapologetic dedication to tall women.
The industry standard inseam is 72–74 cm. For a woman over 170 cm, that is a cropped pant. We were tired of rolling down hems, unpicking seams, or paying for custom tailoring just to own a basic staple.
