Keeping it accurate

You do not need an account to order, but if you create one, please give us details that are true and keep them current. Deliveries fail on wrong phone numbers more often than on anything else.

Keeping it secure

You are responsible for your password and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it and we will end every signed-in session on it.

Suspension

We may suspend or close an account being used fraudulently, to place orders that are never intended to be paid for, or to abuse this site or our team.

Our sizing is based on height

Sizes S1 to S4 are set by height rather than by a standard size chart, and the measurements we publish are the measurements of the garment. They are a careful guide, not a guarantee of fit on every body — if you fall between two bands, message us before ordering and we will help you choose.

Colour on your screen

We photograph our colours as faithfully as we can, but screens differ. A small difference between what you see and what arrives is not a fault.

Linen behaves like linen

Natural linen softens, relaxes and creases with wear. Slight variation in weave and texture is a property of the fabric, not a defect.

Prices

Prices are shown in Jordanian Dinar. Delivery is added at checkout and depends on where the order is going. We can change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order — the total shown at checkout is calculated on our own server and is the amount you pay.

If a price is obviously wrong

If an order is placed at a price that is clearly a mistake, we will contact you before dispatch and either confirm the correct price with you or cancel the order and return anything you have paid.

Paying by CliQ (Jordan)

Available on orders delivered inside Jordan. Transfer the total to our CliQ alias and send the transfer screenshot to our WhatsApp so we can match it to your order. CliQ orders that are not paid within 24 hours may be cancelled automatically, so that the stock is released to someone else. This deadline applies to CliQ only.

Paying cash on delivery

Where cash on delivery is offered for your destination, you pay the driver in full when the order arrives.

Paying by bank transfer (outside Jordan)

Orders delivered outside Jordan are paid by bank transfer, which is the only method offered for those destinations. We email you the account details as soon as the order is placed. Your order is held until we have received the transfer and the payment receipt you send us on WhatsApp, and is confirmed by email once we have. There is no payment deadline and we do not cancel a bank-transfer order automatically.

When the sale is agreed

Your order is an offer to buy. The sale is agreed once we confirm the order with you — usually on WhatsApp, and by email as well. Until then, no contract exists between us.

When we may decline

We may decline or cancel an order if the size is no longer in stock, if we cannot deliver to the address given, if a CliQ payment never arrives, or if we have good reason to suspect fraud. If you have already paid for an order we cancel, we return the full amount.

Cancelling

Tell us as soon as you can and we will cancel the order if it has not already gone out for delivery. Once it is with the driver, the return and exchange policy takes over.

Where we deliver and what it costs

We deliver across Jordan and ship to a number of countries in the region. The delivery fee for your destination is calculated and shown at checkout, before you pay.

How long it takes

Our current delivery timeframes are published in the FAQ. They are honest estimates rather than guarantees — a courier delay, a public holiday or an incomplete address can move them.

Receiving the order

Someone needs to be reachable on the phone number you gave us in order to receive the delivery. If the courier cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, the order may be returned to us and a redelivery may be charged.

Customs and duties

For orders outside Jordan, any customs charge, import duty or local tax is set by the destination country and is the responsibility of the person receiving the order. We cannot know those amounts in advance.

Our Return & Exchange Policy forms part of these terms, and it is where these rules actually live — trying the trousers on while the driver waits inside Jordan, size exchanges, and how refunds work. We deliberately keep one version of that policy, so nothing you read here can contradict it.

The 178 name, our photography, written copy, garment designs and this website belong to us. You are welcome to share our pages and photos as they are; using them commercially, reselling our images, or presenting our designs as your own is not permitted.

We make what we make in limited quantities, so sizes and colours sell out. We also take the site down occasionally for maintenance. We do not promise that the shop will be available without interruption, and we may change or withdraw a product at any time.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for supplying goods that match how we described them and that are of satisfactory quality. If we get that wrong, tell us and we will put it right.

What we do not limit

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

What we do limit

Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for delays caused by events outside our control.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and any dispute arising from them falls to the competent courts of Amman.

We may update these terms as the business changes. The version published when you place an order is the version that applies to that order, so a later change never alters an order you have already made.
